I met my husband though his brother, actually. His brother and I were friends and not really dating, but yeah.. Haha! When DJ and I started dating in August 2005, I thought I was on top of the world. We had a whirlwind kind of romance I’d say. We moved very fast and before I knew it, we were expecting our first child.
DJ always makes me laugh, even when I’m mad. It’s true that we bicker and fuss, but we’ve mellowed out quite a bit since we started out. We’ve settled into a routine of sorts and we’re both happy with the way things are. It’s like we are both so comfortable in the fact that we have one another that we have decided to just move with the flow and enjoy one another.
We were married on July 25th, 2008 in a very simple ceremony in our yard. We had a few friends there, our kids, and my mother. It was simple and beautiful, just what we wanted.
